EEEeek! Ratzz & Lizzardzz

My skin is still crawling from the trauma of it all! Earlier today Peanut and I were walking around, enjoying the sunshine and birds singing everywhere. I looked at the curb and saw something dead and furry. I assumed it was a squirrel since they are all over the place where I live. Upon inspection, I realised it was a mouse. Peanut decided it belonged in his mouth--- I disagreed. My Peanut is still taking steroids so he has incredible Hulk strength and because of my health that I already bitched about, I'm not very strong right now. He won the tug of war and pulled us closer to the dead body and then... what happened....IT WAS ALIVE!! It started squirming and wiggling-it was obviously dying and my inner animal lover/activist felt sorry enough for it to reach deep within for just the muscle power to keep my salivating and yelping with excitement Jack Russel away from finishing the job one of the thousand vultures that live around here would have been happy to do. I was able to get him away from the poor thing but it was already too late. Peanut was in hunt-frenzy mode. Every living thing was vulnerable. Every leaf that moved in the breeze was a potential victim. After a few minutes he started walking in the direction towards home.
We got home and I noticed he didn't drink water but went straight to my bedroom. I already knew what was going on in there. I walked in slowly. My dog caught a lizard while I wasn't looking and for reasons known only to him, he enjoys bringing all his victims in MY ROOM. Not to his five hiding places or 4 of his own beds-my room. He likes to let it go-catch it again-let it go-catch it again then cry while poking it with his nose after it dies. I picked him up-lizard in mouth-and put him on the patio because the general rule in the house is: any house member who likes to torture lizards, please do so NOT IN MY ROOM, thankyou. Please PETA don't come to my house-it's not my fault-I knew JackRussel's enjoyed hunting fox in England but since I don't live in England or own foxes I thought all others would be safe. I even had a small
but respectful funeral:

I've said it before and I'll say it again:does this look like the face of a killer?

I didn't have my camera on hand to take any pictures of the mouse but I wouldn't have been able to anyway. Peanut is stronger than me right now and it would have been that mouse's doom.

Pointless Info About My Fragile Health

I haven't been feeling 100 percent the past few weeks and I knew it was anemia. I had some blood work done a couple weeks ago to check my thyroid levels and I asked my endocrinologist if they could check for anemia too, just to be sure. So the anemia results went to my family physician, who I had an appointment with yesterday. He said I have to take iron supplements 3 times a day for at least the next six months and I have to get my blood work done again in three weeks and again 3 months after that. In the mean time, still no strenuous activity or high level aerobic exercises until my iron level is back up because there isn't enough oxygen my blood. Wonderful. I also lost 5 pounds which isn't that much but at my height, is a lot. I don't have a scale in my house so I never know how much I weigh. I wasn't trying to lose at all but I have noticed that my pants have been loose. He said my thyroid level is too high which explains it because I never lost weight by not exercising at all and eating tons of chocolate covered popcorn, mashed potatoes with extra gravy and cheese quesadillas before. I don't like losing weight because when I weigh less, I always have some kind of cold or flu-those kinds of ailments. I get slightly confused when I think of how healthy my lifestyle is and how unhealthy I always am. I've always taken good care of myself-I walk at least 40 minutes a day with Peanut and despite the bad foods above, I eat fresh veggies, lean meats, whole grains-all that good stuff. I don't smoke-or drink heavily. I don't snack-except for the chocolate covered popcorn lately, but that doesn't count. I loathe soft drinks and sugary juices. I sleep 7 hours or more every night. I pretty much have a fairly stress-free life. That f-ing surgery and radio iodine crap really knocked me on my ass and I thought by now I would be back to normal. I said to my husband the other day, "I'm too young to feel this old." I guess it's genetic.
It's strange because, before all this happened, I was having such a beautiful time. It's hard to explain, but, for the first time, ever, I felt happy with myself, good about my body, proud to be turning 30. I was planning on going back to college and travel a bit. Remember those cheesy,I-AM-WOMAN tampon commercials or those really cheesy shampoo/hair color commercials? With the bouncing beautiful hair and the girl all smiling in the sunshine and full of un-obnoxious confidence? That was me last summer. I had so much energy and happiness and love. I want to be that way again. I'm not just looking at last year through post-cancer-colored glasses, either- everyone noticed how great I felt. But, I really need to be more patient-and thankful because it could have been worse-there was a cure for my cancer and not everyone is that lucky. I know I'll be healthy again.
I have another appointment tomorrow with my endocrinologist, who's opinion I trust above all others because she's the one who found the cancer after everyone else I had gone to was like,"oh don't worry about it, you're a healthy girl, we don't need to check for anything else, just take these pills and everything will be ok-by the way does your insurance cover this visit-if not let me update your address so we know where to send the bill." MrPea thinks I should sue and I probably could but, even so-I'm too tired and perhaps too forgiving for all that. Anyway-blah-blah-blah! I had my five minute bitch-festival about my health. F-ing cancer!

Y-M-C-A it's fun to stay at the......

I went to watch my 10 year old nephew's basketball game today. I have to admit, even though I've heard about parents who are a bit extreme at those events, I was shocked. A lot of the parents were screaming at the kids and getting angry when they made a mistake. I was thinking,"Dude, your kid is 10! TEN ok? Give him a f- break and let him enjoy himself!" Maybe I'm too soft. One lady(if I can call her a lady) was screaming,"Relax! Relax!" while her son was about to shoot from the foul line and then screamed,"Jesus Christ!" when he missed both times. Right in my ear, might I add. Did she really think he could relax with her screaming like that??? They were even screaming obscenities at the referees. How dare they enforce the rules!! Those bastards! And there were a couple moms in the back gossiping and saying some really dirty things about one of the other moms-and oh she's fat and getting divorced haha and ooh can you believe what she's wearing-can her pants be any tighter-slut-she prol'ly has a disease and ooh check her out I heard she was an alcoholic, and look at him you know he sleeps around!(this is the clean version of thier conversation) They knew everyone could hear them too, even the children. I'm not one of those-'Omigosh don't breathe in front of the children-don't blink in the presence of children' type of people either.

We noticed one of the players on the other team happened to be the only girl and we all had a Gloria Steinem moment. She tried to shoot a three pointer and totally missed and someone yelled out to her,"Good try!" Her coach yelled,"NO,That was not a good try!" He was on her ass the entire time-I'm not saying it was because she was girl, but he was encouraging with the others and so hard on her and she was the best damn one on her team!!! Someone fouled her at that moment so she had to go to the foul line. My sister and I, plus the women we were with, jokingly, made fists at the coach. She got both baskets and waved to us, smiling....hey anything I can do for my fellow sister. We saw a chance to embrace female solidarity and jumped on it :o)

I never saw a bunch of children playing a game and looking so stressed out before. I asked my sister if the parents were always so crazed at these things. She said,"I'm used to it-you should see how they act at baseball games, it's worse." Really?

Thirteen Insensitive/Rude Things I've Heard People Say:

1. It must suck being so short.--Like I said yesterday, I hear this all the time.

2. I saw your makeover on the news yesterday, the lighting made your acne look worse than in person.--This was said to a friend of mine by her coworker.

3. Your sister's a bitch, but, I like you.--This was said to me during 8th grade cheerleader tryouts by an older 'cool people section' girl. What could I have said,"gee, thanks?" She ended up threatening to kick my ass on the last day of school and I never figured out why being as I only had one other interaction with her besides that but that's another story for another day. Awh junior high-good times.

4. I'd invite you (to dinner), but the people we're meeting aren't your kind of people.--This was said from one coworker to another in front of me. It was at my first job and I worked at the mall. I remember thinking in her defense, "We sell jeans and slutty clothing here, are you trying to say that you're hanging out with the bookstore people and they are just way over her head?"

5. Your from (insert name of a country)? Man, I heard the prostitutes were really hot there.--Ok this was one of the weirdest moments of my life thinking about it now. This was aid to me by a boyfriend's neighbor. He was, I think, in his 40s-married-with kids, but for whatever reason hung out with the teenagers on that street. What the hell kind of response is one supposed to give after that? That was actually the cleanest thing he said that day because he also went on to say some other filthy things about the female genitalia but my fingers will fall off if I write them down here. The strangest part was-I heard later, when he was told all the girls were grossed out, he said he meant those things as compliments. CREEPY!

6. Let me help you with that, she doesn't know what she's doing-she's just the bikini salesgirl here. She wouldn't know a clue about that.--This wasn't said to me, but about me. I was working in a surf shop and going to school and the owner was a jerk and a sexual harasser-that's also a story for another day. A female customer asked me for help just as he walking into the store. I have to note that he was from Louisiana and had never been on a surfboard in his life-he just pretended like he was this hard core surfer and I've lived on the beach my whole life. I didn't work there very long....

7. You're hair is really long, where do you get your extensions done?--This was said to me by a coworker of my husband's during an office party in front of everyone. She's mean to everyone so it didn't bother me even though I've never had extensions in my life. She also said #2 and #10.

8. I feel so comfortable in your apartment because it always looks like shit so I
don't feel like I have to dress up to come over here.--A college classmate said that to my roommate and I. In our defense we both worked full time and went to school full time so our house was sanitary but not organized.

9. I liked you better with a beard-it's all too much face now.--The girl who said the statement above(#8) said that to our poor neighbor who had been dumped by his girlfriend and shaved off his beard in an effort to start over-it was our advice(me and my roommate). We thought he looked nice.

10. Do they make strange click, click sounds when they're talking where you're from? That's pretty weird!--Isn't this woman creative? Like I said the woman who just loves my long hair said this to a colleague's wife. She is from South Africa and that bitch just felt like pointing that out to everyone. I could write an entire book about this woman but then she'd get the validation she so badly needs.

11. Why do you need a blue tooth-you're like nobody important.--My sister overheard one mom say this to another mom at her son's preschool. Not very nice.

12. I'm going to get some lemon cake but maybe you should skip desert.--I actually heard a mother say this to her daughter at Starbucks.

13. I wish I could wear tacky clothes and get away with it, but somehow it suits you.--A sales lady said this to my friend while we were trying on clothes at a vintage store. I think she really did mean it as a compliment but it didn't come out that way.

Thursday Thirteen-Rude Things I've Heard People Say

Some were said to me directly, a couple at other people in my presence. A couple of them were said by the same person. Some of them you're not going to believe but trust me-I didn't make any of these up. I have a freakishly vivid ability to remember things which is why I'm always surprised that people-strangers, even, are constantly telling me their secrets and extra info that I didn't really want to know-but that's a story for another day. Actually I was inspired by Des' post from yesterday, she talked about "mock-liments" a term I love and have now stolen from her(hope you don't mind)-if you're one of her regular readers then you should be able to guess at least one of them. I've been guilty of blurting out some insensitive things myself-more than once, of course, but I'll keep those for next week's. If you want to know which were directed at me --check back.

Thirteen Insensitive/Rude Things I've Heard People Say:

13. I wish I could wear tacky clothes and get away with it, but somehow it suits you.

I'll give the answer for 2 of them since those are the easiest to figure out. #1-I've heard that all my life since I stopped growing in the 5th grade and even then everyone else was taller than me but the response to that is always Hellll Nooo. It does not suck being short and the reasons why it doesn't suck being short will one day be one of my future TTs! Still though....it's not a nice thing to say.
Obviously #9 wasn't directed at me since I've never had a beard nor the ability to grow one. I swear!

Stripper Names

An old friend who I hadn't heard from in forever called me out of the blue a couple weeks ago just to ask me what my stripper name was-I'm pretty sure there was some alcohol involved. I guess everyone else in the world but me has heard about how to figure out your stripper name(I'm always the last to know these imporatant things). You combine the name of your childhood pet and the name of the street you grew up on.

-------drumroll--------------

*My stripper name is Casper Cypress-thank you ,I'll be signing autographs until 2.
*Mr.Pea's is Spaghetti St.Maurice.
*(The drunk girl who called me is Buffy Willow.)

What's yours? If you feel the inclination.... :o)

Tuesday, February 06, 2007

Huh?

I actually heard these sentences come out of the mouths of hetero-sexual men over the weekend-no lie:
(Mr.Pea wanted me to make sure I let everyone know he did not participate in any of the conversations wherein these sentences occurred-he's way too manly)

"I bought Justin Timberlake's cd, and I love it."

"You guys are gonna laugh, but, I really do think Britney Spears has some talent and I can see her having a come back."

"Have you ever heard that song,'Let's hear for the boy'? It's from the 80s. I like that song."

"Is my hair wierd?"

"Awh! It's raining! I just got this shirt dry-cleaned!"

"I can't believe Kelly Slater(pro-surfer) is going out with Cameron Diaz! uhhh what is wrong with him!"

"I hate those shoes-they look like nurse shoes."

"Do you think I should get my eyes done?"

yeah.

Since I'm too lazy for anything deep-as per usual lately

This isn't that kind of blog anyway.

I took these with my new camera and the words to express how much I love it, don't exist. I'm still learning all the 'stuff' it can do and playing with the settings. It's a 6m-I probably should have bought a more powerful camera but it's so EASY, and that was what I wanted. I didn't want a camera that I needed to have a PhD to figure out. I love the fact that without a memory card-I can still take 130 pictures if I have it on the email pic setting, which is what I mostly use anyway. I did try a couple high resolution pix-but it's been too cold for me to get outside and really get some good ones and I never bought a memory card yet because, honestly, I didn't even know what that was so I can only take 10 in high resolution until I get one---hurry spring--- hurry spring!!
Have I ever introduced you to Mittens? I'm his babysitter. He's only the bestest kitty in the whole world and universe-(besides your kitties of course :o) I wish I didn't have the flash on his eyes because he looks like he's about to zap some laser beams out of them. Fear him-fear him! He's Peanut's favorite friend.

Peanut's face is not as dark now that he's an old man. I didn't know that happened to dogs.

I have some more to post that I took over the weekend. I went out and witnessed all kinds of debaucheries and plan on posting them dammit!

Friday, February 02, 2007

Since I'm on the subject and I know he's reading

I am the baby in the family and everyone is always amazed by my superwoman memory. My dad was fortunate enough to have three daughters. I can understand what that does to a man like my father. I remember that my mother worked in the evenings so during the day she was always home with me in my toddler years. Every once in a while, and this was a very rare event, I had to stay with a friend of hers during the day and once or twice I went to a day care. This is why this memory is so vivid:

I was about 3 or 4 and my dad took me to a day care center and explained to them that I was only to be there for one or two days. I had never been to that place before so I didn't know the 'rules' or the routine. I have to explain that all my life I have been doted on, babied, and looked after by my older sisters and brother-everything I ever did was just sooo cute and soooo adorable and sooo special in their eyes. Plus I had inherited a smart mouth. So I'm sure I was not very cooperative at this place. During story time I wasn't paying attention or keeping still and one of the ladies in charge was a little rough handed with me while putting me in the naughty corner and I specifically remember that I didn't understand that I was misbehaving.

The next day my father, in all his Navy uniform glory took me to that place and the woman was all smiles- "Hello sir, can I help you?"

Him:"Yes you can help me. You can help me find out who the hell put their (insert explicative) hands on my (insert explicative) daughter!"

I only remember that part so I don't know what happened after but change a couple words and that same sentence can be used to describe several situations:

At the doctor getting a shot:
"Don't you hear her screaming? Take your (insert explicative) hands off my (insert explicative) daughter!"

At school if one of us was sent for a spanking(it was school policy then and they had to call for parental permission): "I don't(insert explicative) think so! Don't lay a (insert explicative) hand on my (insert explicative) daughter!"

At the airport some strangely dressed people tried to give my sister a flower: need I even go on? I'm sure you get the idea

I'm pretty sure this is a common story.

Ah HAH!

Who thinks it's funny that my dad lurks here?

I do-I do!

Thursday Thirteen Songs I Sing In The Shower

While doing this, I just realized why the lady who lives next door hates me. She glares at me-and I mean GLARES at me every time I see her which is quite often because I walk my dog around the same time she leaves for work and comes home. I don't care though, I smile big at her because I don't know what her problem is and have no reason to dislike her other than the fact that she hates me. MrPea and I have different bathrooms because I hate sharing a bathroom with a boy. So the ladies room in my home is right where her master bedroom is.

This in no way represents my music preferences because I don't have a preference. I love just about every song I've ever heard. Most of them are oldies because, personally, I find oldies easier to sing and more fun to sing in the shower. I use the word 'sing' very generously because I used to at least sing in tune before my surgery but now I sound like an angry cat with strep throat. And that's fine with me.

Thirteen songs I sing in the shower

1. The Joker, Steve Miller Band
2. Is this Love, Bob Marlery
3. Take it Off, The Donnas
4.Sexual Healing, Marvin Gaye
5. Let's Groove, Earth Wind and Fire
6. One Way or Another, Blondie
7. Stayin' Alive, Beegees
8. The Hawaii 5-0 theme song-I don't know who composed this song
9.What am I to you, Nora Jones
10.Get down on it, Kool and the Gang
11. Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Barry White
12. SuperFreak, Rick James
13. I wanna hold your hand, The Beatles

OK-I feel better now

I watched Sesame Street as a kid-Kermit was my favorite. His look of exasperation is the best. I love to make this face-I practice often and will look for any excuse to make it. I love to see people making this face-inadvertently or on purpose-doesn't matter. I love making this face at MrPea, he's really good at it himself(I need a better name for him) and dammit, call me crazy, I'm pretty sure I've seen Peanut making this face too.

Today I'm making this face because:
1.I'm tired, tired, tired for NO reason. It's the f-ing anemia. I'm 30 years old dammit. I should be bouncing all over the place not dragging my ass like a slug. I've been taking multi-vitamins AND iron supplements and I'm still tired, exhausted, energy-less, fatigued, burnt out, washed out, worn out, enfeebled, the weak link of nature.
2.I'm still irritated-if you didn't read my last post-don't bother, it's too long and bitchy plus all you really need to know is a friend hurt my feelings without meaning to and I said nothing about it and then got angry at myself for not sticking up for myself instead of getting defensive.(is that a run on sentence or what!?) I really shouldn't let myself get upset so much. I should try to look at a person's good intentions. Still though.....(*update-I deleted my last post-it was too negative)
3.I was reading a few "soapbox" blogs and was irritated by a couple things that were said. One of them was why do people use their blog to complain about stupid everyday things when there are more important things going on in the world. Another was- blogs are silly because it's full of silly little girls talking about clothes and shoes and we should all be serious and talk about real issues not silly things. How dare we use our blogs to vent once in a while-how dare we communicate! How dare we persue happiness and acceptance!tsktsktsk

But, I am happy because:

* I went to get my blood work done this morning and that's always good because I like to be proactive about my health. I'll know for sure why I'm always tired lately. I do feel a little better the past couple days, too.
*It's going to be warmer tomorow.
*Winter here is almost over.
*I finally got my camera!!Yippee! I'm still learning how to use it but I love it!!
*I have an exorbitant amount of chocolate covered popcorn and I plan on guiltlessly eating every single kernel and I could care less about gaining one f-ing pound because today(maybe not tomorrow) I have a good body image dammit.
*I can't express enough how soft and thick Peanut's extra chest fur is and how much I love it. He's a lion!
*F-ck all those "snogs" ! I just made that word up-it means a 'snobby blog'-GET IT? get it??heehee! Because my jokes and made up words are cheesy like that! Feel free to use it-or not.
*I got offered a cool job. I said no, though. I'm not ready yet because I don't feel healthy enough. Still, it feels good to know I can when I'm ready.

Most embarrassing moment of my life

#1

Time: Jan.1983, 8:05 am
Place: Pearl Harbor Elementary-2nd grade morning line up section

I was 7 years old
I made the dumbest mistake of telling my sister during Christmas break(yesssss, it was Neenee) that I had a crush on Rodell, my lunch line partner, who up until that moment traded chips with me everyday during snack. Her real intentions unbeknownst to me, Neenee decided to be big sisterly that day and walked me to my class. She even invited a couple of her cool 5th grade friends to come with us. I felt extra-special-cool to be seen with older girls from the "cool people section" at school. *OK before I even go on are you guessing what happened? Should I even finish? ok I'll finish:

So there I am, trying to be cute in my new purple miniskirt and my sister and her"cool people section" friends decide to serenade me as I'm walking to my assigned place in line.

Oh- did you want to know the song they chose? It was called "Angel loves Rodell"-that's my name by the way. Just in case anyone would like to sing on their own or in the shower...where ever...I'll include the actual lyrics:

Angel Loves Rodell!
Angel Loves Rodell!
Angel and Rodell sitting in a tree---k-i-s-s-i-n-g.........

Oh you already know that song? Because I thought Neenee was just the most talented song writer and by the way I have to mention that they sang so loud and clear that it echoed throughout the entire school.

Isn't that so romantic?

Rodell moved to California two months later but by that time I had transferred my feelings to Scotty, my field trip partner.

Someone please kidnap this cat for me

He probably makes biscuits, irons, cuts the grass, and washes windows too. Not to mention his karaoke skills- probably kick ass

I'm not sure if I did everything right but I saw this a couple times on Ms.Courtney's blog and it looked like fun so I signed up....they made me add links to EVERY SINGLE PERON in the whole damn world who participates in order to get my blog on their list but I might not keep it. It took me forever-it's all general stuff because I was too lazy for details. Feel free to participate-or not!

More Creepy

Since I'm in that creeped out state of mind.....this is probably fake but it creeped me out anyway. Enjoy

I got creeped out by this . I'm sure there's some kind of tricky math involved but still....

Shhhhh!

I have an almost holy reverance for libraries. I give dirty looks to people in the library who make noise. Why, just yesterday I was in the new arrivals section when two people were behind me making all kinds of ruckus in the DVD aisle. They probably didn't notice my intimidating 4'11" frame but I enjoyed giving them dirty looks anyway. They quieted down and I decided we didn't need to throw down. It was my pleasure. I'm pretty sure I could've taken them.

IMonster Cat

I'm probably the last person to have heard about this kitty. I guess it was on the news a while back. I wonder how he got that big....

Today!!

I:

-saw a beautiful bald eagle(but I don't have a damn digital camera yet dammit... but we won't get negative will we....)

-walked into the ladies room at the Cheesecake Factory where a Texan in a purple thong and red boots was trying on her new pants.(OMG I totally regretted not having a digital camera at that moment even more than the bald eagle moment)

-bought the winning lottery ticket(heehee-I hope)

-received a 'thank you for not dying of cancer gift' from MrPea(a mini-ipod yay...I am finally in the 21st century...now if I can figure out how to use it)

-bought a pack lipgloss, 3 for $.99(I would have been just as happy with that as my gift but don't tell MrPea lest he steal my ipod)

-found the newspaper clipping of me and Peanut in Quebec(that's right! Hard hitting news!)

I had to blank out my last name from the psychos.

What about ya'll?!

I had no idea

You Are Dr. Bunsen Honeydew

You take the title "mad scientist" to the extreme -with very scary things coming out of your lab.
And you've invented some pretty cool things, from a banana sharpener to a robot politician.
But while you're busy turning gold into cottage cheese, you need to watch out for poor little Beaker!
"Oh, that's very naughty, Beaker! Now you eat these paper clips this minute."

Apparently my muppet personality is that of a psycho-scientist...I disagree. I stole this from Spinning Girl. Hope she doesn't mind.

I finally dragged my ass out of lazy world and made some links. I'm still not finished-I have more but I got lazy in the middle and stopped. Some of these peeps don't know who the hell I am but that didn't stop me from putting them in the cool people section anyway.

She said-She said-He heard

Since the moment we met, MrPea and I sometimes misunderstand each other. My husband's first language is French and he speaks excellent English, but with a beautiful accent and I have a barely there southern accent(that I can turn off and on)-so sometimes I have no idea about one or two words he's using and vice versa. I can't yell as loud as I used to and he doesn't yell or speak loud at all so it's more frequent lately. As always, I was on the phone with my sister, Neenee, last night. Here's a little snippet of our conversation:

Neenee: "Hey, you should watch Primetime tonight. They're doing a segment on hoarding."

Me yelling to MrPea in the next room: "Can you record Primetime for me? It's about hoarding, you know, that's what my mom sort of does!"

MrPea: "Huh?"

Me(impatiently): "Hoarding! Hoarding! I'd like to learn more about it so I can try to help my mom with her hoarding!"

.....................................................pause of silence...................................................................................

MrPea(slowly): "I'm sorry, can you say that again?"

This is what he heard: "Can you record Primetime for me? It's about whoring, you know that's what my mom does.....Whoring! Whoring! I'd like to learn more about it so I can try to help my mom with her whoring!"

I'm so sorry, Mommy-I would never say that, I would never even think it! It was him! Him! Not me!

Hot Link Action

I don't have a list of links yet. The truth is I sort of didn't know how to link when I started this blog . Now that I finally figured out how, I will, but it's going to take me a while because I visit so many blogs. I guess the general rule is 'link to mine and I'll link to yours.' But I don't want anyone to feel obligated to link to me just because I do. I would much rather get some link love because the person wants to not because they feel like they have to. I hate that feeling-obligation-like when you're little and your mom makes you kiss an auntie or uncle at a reunion and you so do not want to! Most of the bloggers I visit don't know who the hell I am anyway-and that's fine. So if anyone sees their name here feel free to link here or not, it won't hurt my feelings...sniff,sniff... Just kidding! I really do mean it. It's going to take a couple days for me to get my list up because I'm lazy today.

I'm also thinking about changing my picture on my profile since it's not recent but I have to find one that will shrink without looking strange. I'm still shopping around for a decent digital camera and it's taking forever because I can't make up my mind. I like taking pictures but I'm not trying out for National Geographic magazine so I just want a good one that's small enough to fit in my purse. There are so many to choose from and I don't understand all those tech words. It took me a long time to even think about buying a digital camera because I was sort of a snob when it comes to technology and 'new things.' My husband is MrTechnology-in career and in personality so one would think that I would be as well. But I like pictures on paper. I like looking through people's photo albums and scrap books and rummaging through piles of pictures, old letters, drawings, books, and post cards. I love old furniture, garage sales, thrift stores and antique/vintage shops. I taught myself to scan pictures but it takes forever plus I'm jealous(in a good way) of all the other blogs' pretty pictures and all the cool stuff that can be done with a digital camera so I'm definitely getting one- as soon as I can stop changing my mind about which one I want.

Anyone wondering why MrPea doesn't show me how to do all this stuff since he's the tech expert in the house-it's because he's not allowed. This is my rule not his. I learn better trying things on my own. He once tried to teach me how to drive a stick shift-that was a disaster-a story for another day.

Furry Chests

Peanut was supposed to have surgery last week. He's an old man now and has problems with his, er, bowels. He's already had 3 surgeries back there in the past few months and endless invasive exams that leave him feeling, well frankly, used and violated. Luckily, after we dropped him off, his doctor called us back in and told us he didn't need another surgery. He decided the best thing to do is to switch him to softer food and give him a strong antibiotic(remember when everyone was trying to buy stockpiles of Cipro because of all the Anthrax scares? That's what he's taking!) AND to help his immune system he's also taking steroids again. Yes my poor little dog is on the juice....I never believed that stuff really worked for animals but all sorts of interesting things have been happening here at Chez Peanut. It's as if he drank from the fountain of youth. He's jumping from couch to couch without taking a bouncing start, he's in constant 'hunting' mode, and he's also in serious 'thief' mode. But the strangest and best part is that the fur on his chest is noticeably thicker and his neck is sprouting curly patches. This isn't the first time he has taken steroids just the first time it made him grow chest hair. I was thinking about buying him a gold medallion or perhaps borrowing one from Mr.Ienjoysendingnakedpicturesofmyself. You remember him, right? More on him another day.

I won't mention names-and you know who you are- but a really insensitive person said to me,"Why are you wasting so much money on him when he's already old, I mean, why don't you just let him be. He's probably going to die in the next couple years anyway." Yeah.

Anyway I know I mentioned I was sick. I can't seem to get away from that damn topic. I'm pretty sure I'm anemic, which is a familiar subject for me so it's not a huge deal. I bought a regular multi-vitamin a few days ago and Mr.Pea's been bothering me and bothering me to eat steak and take some additional iron supplements(left over from the last time I was anemic) but I can't without letting my doc know and it was Martin Luther King Holiday weekend. I feel better today, though, so I'm just going to wait until my next appointment to mention it. I'm sick of all that stuff. At least I have an excuse to eat steak, not that I needed one. Sorry vegans, I tried the whole 'meat is murder' deal a few times and it didn't work.

I'll be back soon!

Don't delete me!! I'll be posting more often soon.
I'm sick. Nothing serious - it's not a death sickness just an annoyance sort of sick.
I was just beginning to post more often too dammit! I just need to rest. It sucks being away from the computer too-even for a day or two. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

*I took this picture with a really cheap camera ten years ago while in The Philipines with my mom. This is the island she grew up on.

Excerpt from my personal diary

From October3rd, 2006(about 3 and a half weeks after my damn sugery)

Letter to my voice (I still had a scratchy voice)

When will my voice come back? When? Please, voice, come back. Just the way you were-just come back so I can sing again. I don't have to sound like Aretha Franklin, I just want to sing without sounding like f-ing Peter Brady.. I just want to be able to speak without using up all my damn breathe and energy. Voice, just come back and I promise I'll never wish you sounded different. I just want to sound like me. *However, voice, if you are changing permanently, at least be sexy like Marilyn.(Monroe not Manson) But seriously voice, just come back from where ever you are. I need you.

I still don't have my old/real voice and I complain about that to anyone who'll listen at least once or twice a day. I don't sound like Peter Brady anymore and that's good. My surgeon says to wait a few more months for my nerves to repair but I'm doubtful. I should be thankful that I can speak at all. But I miss my old voice. I used to be able to change it to suit the situation.(I don't mean baby talk-I hate when couples do that-grosses me out and makes me wonder what kind of issues are really laying there under the surface-but that's a story for another day) I can't make the funny voices I used for reading stories and imitating people behind their backs. I can't make it softer for asking for favors. I can't yell at my husband and my dog. I can't scream if a psychopath tried to kidnap me. (I know,I know, this is a bit paranoid but wait til I tell ya'll about the time a creepy man scared me at the pool in my neighborhood one day)

I've been told by everyone that they don't notice the difference. But I do, I've been listening to it for 30 years, I should know. This isn't a pity party. I am very thankful for how well things turned out. I just found that page in my diary and thought it was funny. I'll try to remember the creepy man at the pool story for another day.

I can't think of a title-this post has no title

Last night Mr.Pea and I went out with a couple of his single friends from work. We ate a Caribbean restaurant that for some reason was blasting country music. The shrimp was good though and I'm a picky eater. We ended up having a mediocre time at a pretty cool bar. The band that was performing last night was playing that sort of funk-jazz that you have to be, like, supercool to 'get it'. You know what I mean right? You have to wear sunglasses indoors and listen to supersecret artists no one else knows about. None of us 'got it'. It wasn't bad music just ok. I got to hear Mr.Pea scat though-that was a first. (you know, like, when they do that shoo ba doo ba dooooo daadaa thing) I'm pretty sure I heard a meow in there somewhere-good times.

As usual I was the only girl. (I was also the designated driver but not because of my gender.) Being the only girl can have it's benefits but pretty much sucks for the most part. This is because I am not 'one of the boys'. I did go through a tomboy phase but even then it was because my best friend was going through one and that lasted a month at most. All of my girl friends have either moved away or had kids and dumped me. I don't take it personally, I was 13 when my oldest sister had her first son so I know after the babies come, moms don't usually have time for anything else. But I'm not bitchy about being the only girl and I don't pull the queen bee attitude either-I hate that. I like to listen to their 'guy' gossip-I thought high school girls were bad! Nuh ah! I wish I could write all the information I heard but they all know I have a blog so I'll keep it to myself and perhaps blackmail everyone later-I know things dammit.

As usual no one scored a phone number. Maybe next time.

New Year's dinner-Little Pea style

I know I know-New Year's Day was on the 1st. But I was damn lazy on the 1st. So our Happy New Year started on the 2nd dammit! I made a turkey. Over the years I've made a few turkeys thanks to a Spanish waitress who, when I told I didn't think I was a good enough cook, said it was easy-peasy(ok she didn't exactly use that term it just sounded funny to me) and that I should just jump into it and gave me her tips. Since then I've used her recipe. So for anyone out there as timid as I was, I'll pass on the wisdom. I have to just put it out there that I'm not the best of cooks so don't be mad at me if it doesn't work! Plus it's not my recipe anyway it's hers.
I make a spice rub: paprika, salt, cayenne pepper flakes, garlic powder, course pepper blend, seasoned salt

Notice some got on the counter...I'm messy what can I say? By the way I just want everyone to know-I did not/would not choose that horrible mauve color for the counter top, it's ugly I know!

I rubbed the spices all over and inside too, it's kind of gross but I get over it after a few seconds, then spray vegetable oil and tuck the wings behind.
I started sort of late so I didn't have enough time to cook it with the cornbread stuffing(yes, from the box dammit) so I stuffed it loosely with onions(say it like that Cajun guy on PBS while doing it,"On-yOns") , carrots, and celery.
I ate a shocking amount of kettle chips while waiting the 3 hours so I wasn't really that hungry by the time it was finished but MrPea was.

It came out sort of burnt looking but that's because I raise the temp from 325 to 375 for the last 15 minutes so the skin will be krronchy(not crunchy). It doesn't make for a pretty turkey but let's not be superficial here! I do have a tendency to burn things-ok I know that! But I have to blame it on the crappy oven I swear it!! MrPea likes for things to be cooked to DEATH anyway. Plus I made enough gravy to fill a pothole(yes from a mix-does it look like there are any drippings here to make gravy with? plus I hate giblets, I don't even like the word giblet sounds like someone's toes or something) and it was good dammit!

Anyway, I didn't make any resolutions this year because they are always the same ones: Exersize more, eat right , quit swearing. I haven't excersized much lately but I will. Besides those chips from yesterday(I bought them in bulk for cheaper-which I still haven't gotten over how much I love to buy in bulk but that's a story for another day), I don't really eat too badly. And the cussing-I have to admit, I enjoy cussing. It's a love hate thing: I like to say cuss words but I hate the way they sound coming from my mouth. It's just so enjoyable sometimes especially since I grew up in such a stiff, strict household. It's not like I go around telling everyone to go f- themselves, like certain people we know and love(oh!but how I would love to sometimes) When I prohibit myself-it just makes me want to do it more so I'll give myself permission to swear while acknowledging that it sounds horrible. That was how I quit smoking. I doubt this will work but I'll take this habit over all those other bad habits I'm thankful for not having. Does that sentence make sense? Does to me.

Hope everyone had fun over the Holidays.

New do

Sort of.

I spent most of the day at the "arm and leg" salon with foil on my head. It was a much needed visit because I had some highlights done months ago and I wasn't able to touch up my roots until after the radioiodine was finished...plus I was lazy. I should probably feel guilty about paying a fortune for hair but I only go a couple times a year and I really needed it. My hair was looking two-toned; brassy on the ends and deep brown on the top. It's sort of noticeable in this pic

I was pretty much trying to do the whole pouty supermodel thing here...unsuccessful. I think I'll leave that dream behind.

I gave my stylist a free hand-she said she wanted to give me a "honey golden glow", whatever the hell that is-but it came out ok. Alot brighter than I'm used to-I like my hair dark but after feeling so crappy for so long, it's a nice change.

Mr.Pea liked it. That's him with Peanut behind me.

*Just a few minutes ago-while I was downloading these pictures, my husband said to me,"why don't you start kissing your mirror?" Hmmph! I am not in love with myself! This is coming from someone who spends more time on his own wild curly hair than me!!!!

OH! My 91pound older sister(Neenee-that really is a real nicname I gave her when we were little) told me last night she wanted to weigh 86 pounds-I said, "are you crazy?" She said, "Nicole Richie probably weighs about the same." I said,"yah, and she looks like a damn corpse!" She said,"But I want to be able to wear pretty miniskirts and tank tops like you did this summer." I said," Did you think I looked cute in them?" She said,"yes." I said,"Oh really? Did you want a figure like mine was?" She said,"yes!" I said," oh ok good- I weighed 108 pounds- so start eating then!" I think that conversation went pretty well. A healthy woman is always more beautiful than someone who is skinny just for the sake of being skinny!!

A Boyfriend for Neenee?

I DON'T THINK SO!!!

As promised here is the picture of the idiot who thinks sending naked pictures of himself is the way to a girl's heart.

Hey Romeo! Let me give you a little tip-my sister doesn't want you ok? She might be too polite to say it frankly-but FRRRANKLY(and luckily)-I'm not. And sending her this picture thoroughly grossed us out. I'm sure you're really proud of yourself to have actually taken the time to pose and primp for her and maybe this sort of behavior works with the kind of women you're used to but you're not her type. What is her type? Well number 1-not you. Number 2-the opposite of you. Number 3-men who don't send pictures of themselves thinking the recipient will be too filled with desire to be grossed out by the fact that a total stranger just sent her a creepy naked photo. You know, really, we feel sorry for you-because you're delusional-we can tell that you're really impressed with yourself-it's obvious you take care of yourself-but maybe no one has put you in your place before or rejected you. And guess what, Mr.Ienjoysendingnakedpicturesofmyself. You're not as hot as ya think and by the way the disco era is over-crazy cool medallions should be put away or reserved only for gangsta rappers.......I'm sure I haven't hurt your feelings and that you'll go on with your life thinking you're hot-hot-hot, but I just thought you should know. For future reference: a simple,"hi how are you, would you like to join me for lunch?" is usually the best way to go if you want to date an actual person with a working brain.

My new top

It's the little things in life that can make my day dammit! Last month I bought two pairs of 'ked' type shoes. You know the shi-shi-foo-foo super expensive type of little walking shoes that those women who wear those track suits with "juicy" on the butt buy? I got them for $6.99 each! I spent the rest of the day feeling like I won the damn lottery. Today I had another moment...I bought this tank top:

for $12.99 marked down from 60 f- dollars!!heehee! Although I have to say I hate shopping this time of year I usually hide from the stores until Feb....but I have to find something to wear to Mr.Pea's office holiday dinner. This isn't appropriate enough(don't you hate that word?)-I still have to find something.

Yesterday was nice enough to eat lunch outside

Hey look at my neck-no more mutant alien cancer bump! One of these days I'll have to post some before/after pix of my neck. It was really bad. I don't even care about the scar, I'm just glad to have normal neck again.

OH!OH!OH! I got some juicy funny gossip from Neenee!!!!! Some genius friend of hers gave this real sleazeball idiot guy my sister's cell number and he decided the best way to ask MY SISTER out was to send a naked picture of himself and then txt her again saying, "so when are we going out?" Um, how about NEVER! What a Romeo. Should I be cruel and post his picture???? I can! I can! Because she sent it to me just in case anyone thought I was making it up..... I will tomorow. It's decided. So stay tuned for the picture of Mr. Romance tomorow.

PS My plans for a digital camera are still on hold. That's why these pix are so bad. Oh and also-I wasn't making fun of those "juicy" on the butt pants I promise that was just the only way I could think of to describe my new shoes.

War!!!--HUUH! (good gawd ya'll)

What is is goooood for? absolutely nuttin....say it againnnnnn

I just figured out how to post videos. Enjoy.

*I s'pose I should disclose that these are not my cats-but ya probably already knew that. Don't make fun of how tech-unadvanced I am. I'm doing my best here dammit! By the way dontcha just love the stubby tail?

This blog has no identity

I was just told this morning that my blog has no identity. Whatever that means..... hhmph, like I care. I just figured out how to link so I will start having some more fun posts soon. I know I keep saying that but dammit be patient with me. Do I need to keep cashing in my cancer sympathy card or what? yes

It's a slow week-a lazy week. I went to a follow up appointment with my surgeon yesterday. Everything seems to still be in working order. My scar has healed well except for one small tender spot that we need to keep an eye on. I asked about my voice-yes, I know everyone keeps telling me that my voice is back to normal. But not for me. It may sound the same but it takes a huge effort on my part and I get winded after just a couple sentences. He said it will take a long time for me but not to worry. At least I don't sound like a man! I did mention to him that I rather enjoy having any excuse to cash in my cancer card-as in,"well,I'm sorry I won't be able to volunteer for that but, you know, I'm still convalescing and all."(also see above) He showed me a meek and humble, helpless face to use and said I should fold my hands. I'll have to practice some more but I think I have it down. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to use that but it suits me for now. My surgeon is a wise man....

On a happy note, Christmas is getting closer and closer! I wish this little junior here with Santa did not grow up into a 17 year old man.... oh well.

My sisters need to have some more kids.

A Boyfriend for Neenee

My sister, Neenee, is going to be single again soon. She gave me permission to tell EVERYTHING about her soon-to-be-ex, and I have pictures too dammit!!!....however I've decided not to---hmph, for now. But, I have decided that I should be in charge of finding her a new boyfriend. She said I could as long as choice number one was :

Mr.George Clooney

Why he should be her future boyfriend:
1. He has salt and pepper hair-she likes that
2. He owns a lake home-she lives in one too
3. It would totally irritate her soon-to-be ex---we like that

Why he should not be her future boyfriend:
1. He drives this and it would mess up her hair-she doesn't like those
2. She told me just the other day,"I don't 'do' lakes, I like the sea."
3. Um, actually those are the only 2 reasons we could think of

Just in case though, we'll keep looking.

Our Fake Fir

I wasn't sure if I had the energy to 'do' a Christmas tree this year. I've been so lazy about the whole thing the past couple years because Christmas would arrive barely a month after we had just relocated-I would keep telling myself, 'I'll do it next year, I'll do it next year...' . I asked my mother a couple weeks ago if she had any spare mini-trees that I could put up on our table. She came over the other day with a 5' fake one that she found at the flea market-YAY! We've never had a fake tree before but it's been so long since we had a tree at all, I was happy to have it. I put up the lights and ribbons by myself and Mr.Pea helped me with the ornaments I made out of seashells, Elmer's glue, and some glitter. The ornaments and sea star for the top are SO old and have been shipped from town to town with us and ,frankly, look a little more raggedy every year but I refuse to give up on them!! Having a fake tree does have some advantages too. Peanut has no interest in trying to pee on, sniff at, bark at, bite, or check for bugs on it so that's good! I miss the smell of pine but last year I hung up one of those cinnamon brooms over the fire place and the scent was enough to make the home feel Holiday-ish. I do get that cynical feeling every year about the Holidays being an excuse for the whole consume, consume, consume obsession and those syrupy commercials that try to make you feel like crap if you're not buying all kinds of ridiculous gifts. But today I don't, I'm happy about my little tree.

A pet for our pet

Mr.Pea and I had a conversation the other day that illustrates how much we love our dog. We were actually thinking about getting another dog because Peanut(and I'm quoting verbatim)"wants a friend". As if we asked him or something! This is not a new conversation, we've been having it for years now. OK, I'm not going to get into a debate with the,'he's just a dog' people(don't even start that kind of filthy talk with me!). We don't dress him in funny little outfits or have those creepy wedding ceremonies or birthday parties. But he is a valuable member of our little family and we want him to be healthy and happy. The amount of money we've spent on his health and happiness may seem shocking and the fact that we include his name on our Christmas card may seem ridiculous, but not to us. We love him and we're not the least bit ashamed about it!! Why, just two days ago we took him to the vet for a follow up treatment to his surgery two months ago(around the same time as mine). It was pure torture for me to hear his squealing-he's usually a good boy at the doctor but he's an old man now with old man problems(I'll spare ya'll the details but use your imagination). Feeling guilty about his being 'violated', we went to the store and bought him a new fluffy bed and toy. I even took pictures of him 'being happy' about his new bed(one of many he has about 5 different sleeping/hiding areas throughout our home). This was when the comments were made. By myself or by Mr.Pea, I don't remember but it was a mutual thought. One of us said,"Look at poor Peanut, he's turning into an old man, I bet he'd love a little friend to play with." One of us said,"It would make him feel young again!" One of us said,"Oh another dog in the house, wouldn't he be so happy!" I definitely said,"I can't possibly even think about potty training a pup right now. We should get an older dog-I think rescue pets make the best ones!" Then one of us said, "Wait a minute, we are actually discussing getting a pet for our dog!"
Only a dog-lover could understand....This doesn't mean we came to a conclusion, it's still an option just not right now.

Superficial? Me?

I once said something to my nephew that I regretted the moment it came out of my mouth. I said, "Why is everyone on all the cartoons ya'll watch so ugly?" I couldn't believe I could say something so plastic and superficial. I mean I hate all that 'stuff'. By 'stuff' I mean all that shishifoo, look at me I'm so beautiful-logo-blingbling crap society tells us we need to have and look a certain way otherwise we're just ugly and poor losers. Don't get me wrong I like nice things, I like pretty clothes, I wear makeup and want to look my best and appreciate beauty like everyone else. But I have always had a disdain for the looks/image/status-obsessed(don't even get me started on logo bags-I'll have to get into that another day). Despite my disdain did I buy into it too? I didn't think so until I caught myself questioning my nephew how he could possibly be interested in characters that weren't as cute as the cartoon characters I loved so much(Smurfs, Gem and the Holograms, even Tom and Jerry). You know what his response was? He said, "Well they're not good looking cuz' it makes it funnier. I don't think they're ugly though, it's like cute-ugly." Excuuuse me! I'm only human....and I don't/won't shrink from learning a lesson about being shallow from a 10 year old .

Creepy Carrot

This is stupid-I know that. But I wanted to share it with ya'll anyway. I made spaghetti sauce today. Yes, from scratch! (I'm not Martha but I do my best. ) I was just about to cut up this carrot but then decided not to because it looked too much like a finger, gross. OK there are a lot of things going on in the world more interesting to post about. So what...right now my post is about a damn carrot. It's a slow Monday. Anyway I'm still convalescing and all that. Today is the first day in a long damn time that I could truly say, "I feel alright today." Finally dammit-I'm ready to get back to real life and then post about more interesting things than f- wierd looking carrots. Anyone who wants my sauce recipe let me know, I got it from my mother-in-law.

By the way I KNOW the picture is bad quality. I am still in the stone age because I don't yet have a digital camera...I'm working on it, I'm working on it! Until then just be happy with my phone's cam.

Lazy ass

I'm slow and lazy as is everyone else this weekend. I am feeling better though. I did not shop-I will not shop-I have absolutely zero desire to go anywhere near a store until Feb.

All my creative energy is drained. That's all I have to say for right now.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!(*warning-elated swearing*)

I got the news today from my body scan results and it appears that this girl This 4'11" 105pound person you see here looking all pitiful in the hospital bed(a couple hours after a 7 hour surgery) just 2 and a half months ago has apparently just KICKED CANCER'S ASS!!!!!!! The words to describe how I feel right now do not even exist. I will not get all sappy and weepy right now but I will say that this feels like a real Thanksgiving for me for the first time. But I have to gloat for just a few seconds more......because I don't want anyone to mistake me for someone who was/is brave and stoic about the whole thing---oh I cried, I curled up in the fetal position-physically AND mentally mind you, I was scared, I freaked out, I had a full fledged psychotic episode, I bitched, I moaned, I was uncooperative at times, I doubted everything, I was knocked on my ass but guess what! I beat the shit out of CANCER. Fuck you CANCER!! HAHAHAHAHA

I haven't been able to post anything lately because I've been on pins and f-ing needles you guys! I'll say again that I know thyroid cancer is not the big scary monster like breast or lung cancer or heart disease but it was big a scary monster for me and MR.PEA-and Peanut too. Never in my life did I think anything like that would ever happen to me. But you what else? Because of all this, now I know who I am. And now I can add to that-I am someone who kicked cancer's ass!!!(With the help of my doctors of course-wink)

PS By the way my beaupere is home and feeling better too.

No news is good news???

Apparently it has to be for now. I went to my endocrinologist today to find out if any cancer cells were still hanging around but the results from my body scan I had on Monday were not in yet. I think I'll find out tomorow or Monday but at least I can get back on my thyroid replacement meds again because I was totally running out of batteries. I won't even go into how awful I've been feeling the past couple weeks. Plus if I need radioiodine again it wouldn't be until Feb so I'll have some time to recover from feeling like CRAP until then. Just hearing that has a healing effect! I do have a feeling that I would need another round but I'm ok with that if that's what I need to do. So it was sort of good news.

But....we got some sad news when we got home. My father-in-law, my beaupere, our Captain is in the hospital. He had chemotherapy for lung cancer this past spring and it seems he's having problems again. I know I already posted this picture before but this picture of him romancing his wife(singing french love songs dammit!) on their anniversary is one of my favorites. So I'm sending out all the hope I have in my heart that he gets well soon....

We love you Captain! Man of steel! Get the f- out of the f- hospital and get yourself at home with your family who loves you where you belong!

Recent conversation between Neenee and I

(Neenee is one of my older sisters-she lives like a gazillion miles away-needless to say we talk on the phone at least once everyday, sometimes twice)

Me: You know what I can't stand? When the phone rings and the caller ID says Blocked call or Private.

Neenee: I know right?!

Me: Like you're the f-ing president or something- you need to BLOCK YOUR NUMBER! Ooh your name and number has to be top secret!

Neenee: Omigosh I know-so dumb!

Me: You know what? I don't even answer, I feel like, if you're calling my house and you don't want me to know who you are before I pick up the phone, YOU DON'T NEED TO BE CALLING MY HOUSE THEN SMARTASS!

Neenee: Me either-you know what gets on my nerves?

Me: huh

Neenee: When people call and right after you say hello, they go, "Who's this?"

Me: So rude! How the hell hard is it to say-I'm sorry I looking for so and so-is this the right number?

Neenee: You know what I do? I go, "Uh-ah you called MY house, who the hell are YEEEW?"

Me: That's what I'm going to say next time.....rude people-I swear....

We had a pretty productive conversation I think
