Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall....

I fell down the stairs yesterday. Don't feel sorry for me though, it sounds more dramatic that it actually was. I didn't roll while making that helpless face and stay in a coma for weeks only to wake up and find my husband married to my cousin's housekeeper like they do on soap operas. Basically I slipped and fell on my behind while walking down the stairs. So I didn't really hurt myself except I did bruise my elbow when I hit it on the rail trying to grab something. And I have crampy, sore legs. So I guess you can feel sorry for me if you want to for a few minutes. It's not going to cancel out my hair appointment, that's for sure.

*Humpty Dumpty in no way refers to feelings about my weight-just my fall. I don't want to be one of those annoying,"I feel fat" skinny people who weigh less than a potato chip.....I can't stand that.

I'm glad you're OK. I feel down stairs once and cracked my tailbone. That was a good time.

Phew, glad you survived the fall. Humpy dumpty couldn't be put back together again, so I'm glad you have a happier fate, bruises and all.

Well, good thing you survived the fall in one piece. You skinny folk have a lot more at risk. Those of us with some *real* padding can take a stumble like that with a few bruises and a bit of embarrassment. LOL

Glad you're okay though.

Peace,

Eek. I hate falling down the stairs, as I'm prone to do about once a week. It's a good thing you're okay. Be careful.

Twins!

I fell down the subway platform stairs. I was fine except for my elbow. That hurt for a while.

Blondie-I knew someone who broke her tailbone! Ew I bet that hurt!

Jay-Thanks! Yeah and I don't have any king's horse or king's men to put me back together again so I would've been screwed.

Chani-Thanks-it was embarrassing even though no one was there to see.

MsThinker-I will be more careful, for sure. I wasn't wearing slippery shoes and the stairs weren't wet. Just carelessness I guess.

Des-wow! See I told you! And I even hurt my elbow too. Glad it wasn't a bad fall for you. Ok, cue twilight zone theme song again.

If you are well enough to go to your hair appointment, you must be alright. I'm so glad.

Well, dang. I don't look in on you for a couple of hours and look what happens.

I'm glad you're not badly hurt. Try flying a little slower next time, ok?
