R.I.P.

Look very closely at what is lying dead on the bed. Someone is trying to play innocent.

Just look at the following pictures and take a wild guess who won the war between Peanut and his archenemy- who used to live, peacefully, I should add, on the patio.

Remember this guy? Can you see two legs hanging out of some one's mouth? What happened to the tail? We'll never know.

It happens every time. He carries it in his mouth, he throws it in the air, rolls on top of it, and let's it go just to catch it again. Then he doesn't understand that it's dead and cries.

Dumb lizard-I tried to protect him. I try to chase him away with the broom. He didn't run away and now he fell victim to Peanut's wrath. Still I'm gonna miss the little guy.

I almost had a heart attack because I thought it was RIP Peanut!

Well, the lizard did keep teasing him...

Goldie does the same thing. She doesn't WANT the lizard, she just wants it to stop moving. And then when it does, she is so sad.

It must have been the lizard's time! :)

What kind of digital camera do you have?

Peace,

I had the same thought that Super Des did, "Oh no! Not Peanut!"

Glad to hear it's actually a triumphant moment for Peanut, and it was just a lizard.

I should made up a different title.

Chani-I have a little Sony Cybershot, 6m. I wanted a stronger camera but this one is small enough for my purse and easy so I'm happy.

Peanut does look sad. He'll have to find another playmate now. Hopefully one made of steel.

Requiem For a Lizard.

I really hate that moment when a cat has been torturing a mouse and I have to decide if it's kinder to take it away or let it be put out of its misery.

I usually take it away, but it's so hard to know how bad the injuries are.

There will be another lizard soon. Then Peanut can play again! My farm cat used to do this with rabbits. Much messier!
