On a lighter note-No pun intended

I still have some room on my ipod. I need some song/artist suggestions, I like everything. So come on, help a girl out and hit me up with some of your favorites......even if you have to de-lurk, I don't bite ya know.

"First Night" by Jane Olivor. The woman has a voice like an angel.. perfect pitch, just simply beautiful!

(Actually, she sounds a lot like Edith Piaf. If you don't like Edith Piaf, you might not like Jane Olivor. :)

my absolute favorite band right now is the shout out louds. they are a swedish pop band that reminds me of some of my favorite lighter cure and smiths stuff.

if were to pick one song to sell you on the band, it would be normandie. it's very fun to dance around to.

The album "Undiscovered" by James Morrison.

"The Shins"

"Plain White Tees"

Anything by Eva Cassidy

I'm digging the release by Elliot Yamin, the guy from American Idol with the jacked up (and now fixed) teeth with that amazing voice. Loved him.

"Kill to Get Crimson" by Mark Knopfler

Amy Winehouse (she's a train wreck, but her music is so great to listen to)

I'll second Marymurtz and say Mark Knopfler - I particularly like the "Sailing to Philadelphia" CD.

I also love Aimee Mann (e.g., "I'm With Stupid" and "Bachelor No.2" CD's), Suzanne Vega ("Songs in Red and Grey"), most anything by Chris Cornell - including his stuff with Soundgarden, and lately I've been re-digging on Garbage's first album.
