Shhhhh!

I have an almost holy reverance for libraries. I give dirty looks to people in the library who make noise. Why, just yesterday I was in the new arrivals section when two people were behind me making all kinds of ruckus in the DVD aisle. They probably didn't notice my intimidating 4'11" frame but I enjoyed giving them dirty looks anyway. They quieted down and I decided we didn't need to throw down. It was my pleasure. I'm pretty sure I could've taken them.

Good for you. It makes me mad when people do that too. It also irritates me when people visit during meetings or presentations or take calls on their cell phones. How rude!

I am right there with you on that! I was at the school library the other day (college library, filled with people who could be my children given my advanced age of mid-30's) and the place was full to bursting with people listening to iPods loudly (as in singing along with the music), blabbing on cell phones, and generally behaving badly. I wanted to throw down with the lot of them - aren't there 19 gazillion places on campus that aren't the library in which you could pursue these things?!

Thankfully, I didn't have to be there for long, so no throwing down was done.
